Founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin, the Beaune Hospital is shaped around the main court-yard. In the patients room and kitchen, you may discover numerous everyday life objects, statues, furniture, tapestries, paintings and the famous polyptych situated in the Pôvres room in ancient times. The Apothecary’s shelters a bronze mortar, and on the 18th century shelves, you will uncover a collection of 220 glass bottles, an eminent set of 130 earthernware pots and a theriac pot.
