The Apothecary’s is settled inside the General Hospital, which was built in 1790 by Adrien Paris. You will discover three rooms: a laboratory fitted out with a stove, stills, numerous bowls and mortars; a room dedicated to the reception and distribution of plants and medicines holding significant ancient books; a dispensary with its magnificent Louis XV styled panelling actually displaying thousands of remnants coming from the 17th century General Hospital (triacle pots, pill pots and Louis XIII style furniture).
