The General Hospital dating from the 17th century is a beautiful example of the hospital architecture of the Franc-Comtoise Renaissance. You will discover a very elaborated exterior balcony, the biggest in Franche-Comté. On the ground floor, there are the service spaces: Apothicary’s, mistress’ office, kitchen, bakery… On the first floor, the patients’ rooms which look on to the chapel and on the second floor the Sisters’ bedrooms. The Apothicary’s presents a single collection of Dole china pots dating from the 18th century and a pink marble mantelpiece. The showcases shelter 150 pots containing medicinal mix.
