Founded in 1529 on the Saint-Laurent Island by the city aldermen, the Hospital displays a potent heritage. You will notice the neoclassic façade of the ancient chemist’s dating from the 18th century gathering an important china pots collection and the Renaissance architecture of the buildings sheltering the nuns community. You will also discover the pewter room, the refectory and the chapel illustrated with 16th century stainedglass windows resulting from the nave demolished in 1854.
