The Musée Trésor de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Château-Thierry is located in the Hôtel-Dieu, founded in the Middle Ages by Jeanne de Navarre, Queen of France. Tthe museum welcomes visitors for a journey back in time. Its collections include more than 1300 outstanding works of art displayed in spacious surroundings. Paintings, sculptures, faiences, religious silver and gold plate, vestments, furnitures and ethnological objects... await the visitor in a series of 8 rooms arranged in an 18th -century manner. |
