In the 13th century, pharmacy appears in France...

Apothicairerie de Charlieu The first reference to an Apothecary's in the French kingdom dates back from the 13th century.

The Apothecary's, set in General Hospital, took on the welcome of the poor formerly held by the dergymen.

In 1495, a record is the first testimony of the existence of an Apothecary's in the Paris General Hospital.

General Hospitals became, thefore, the architectural translation of this new sanitary trend, and the Apothecary's became that of an ancestral expertise.
