Built between 1731 and 1734, the Apothecary’s is decorated with sheen walnut woods, perfectly lighting the blue cobalt of the Nivernaise china pots in the Renaissance sideboard. The ceiling painted by Lugnot represents a superb trompe-l’oeil. This place, like magic, draws out a mysterious atmosphere. It seems as if the presence of nuns was still floating in the air. |
